Every 10 years on his birthday, Linda plans an extravagant surprise for her husband, John. On his 50th birthday, she managed to get him to Bermuda with 30 guests! Imagine the look on his face when his friends and family showed up for that exotic party! So it’s no wonder that he didn’t think she’d be doing anything for his 60th birthday, as he couldn’t imagine her pulling off anything again after THAT. This year, the surprise birthday party took place at the historic Old Angler’s Inn in Potomac, Maryland, a rustic venue that they both enjoy frequenting. The theme? Margaritaville. It was a stormy and cold evening, so the good folks at the Old Angler’s Inn pulled together a tent for the crowd. As their Potomac party photographer, my favorite part of the evening was the roast, when a couple of John’s friends took up the mic to tell amusing stories about John.
