When Bailey first called me up for information on engagement portraits, we talked about all sorts of things… like what she and Bob cared about most about in their engagement photography… and locations that were meaningful to them where they might want the engagement portraits done…   Bailey said to me that of everything they needed for their wedding, they really wanted meaningful photos, so they really wanted to invest in the photography.  Bailey didn’t want a set of standard “ho hum, everybody smiles” engagement portraits… she wanted to do fun poses with active action shots.  Bailey is from Nevada and Bob from the Washington DC area, and they wanted to find a way to combine these two parts of their lives.  So we talked about engagement portraits around the Washington DC monuments and Smithsonian Castle… and Bob’s family farm in Westminster, MD, and in the end, we all felt that the family farm would be most meaningful to them.  We even added in some cards and casino chips as props from the Nevada side!  In the end after their engagement photography session, Bailey & Bob had me create a 20×24 sized storyboard printed on metal (see last image below) with some of their favorite engagement portraits, plus another favorite portrait (first image below) for a 20×30 sized metal print.  Gorgeous!!!

Don't settle for "ho hum, everybody smiles" engagement photography.
