When Tariq first called me, he’d just recently moved to the Washington DC area. His girlfriend, Marissa, was coming up to visit from Georgia, and they wanted a couple's portrait photography session at a location that was both outdoorsy and with beautiful architecture, so of course, I thought of Meridian Hill Park in the heart of Washington DC. And when we met up that early morning of our couple's portrait photography session, I can’t think of another way to describe this happy couple, but by the bubbly joys of young love. As I created their couple’s portraits, these two lovebirds were just constantly giggling, laughing, and smiling; they were just so happy to be in each others’ arms, oblivious to the world. And as it wasn’t too much later after our couple's portrait photography session that Tariq moved from Washington DC down to Georgia, I guess these are two people who just aren’t meant to be apart.
