While this is the second time in the past six months that I’ve photographed A., I’d never been asked to do a fitness photography or sports photography session before. But I love new photography challenges, so this fitness photo shoot was exciting and a lot of fun for me! Over the past two months, A. has been working hard on a new nutrition and fitness program, and this fitness photography session was her reward for two months well done. We had meant to photograph outdoors in the serene backyard gardens of Rockville, Maryland’s Glenview Mansion, but what with winter not wanting to leave, it was cold and windy, and so we arranged to hold our photography session inside the Mansion. Doesn’t A. look awesome? What an amazing feeling to have accomplished so much. We’ve all made goals that we’ve never reached, and I’m so impressed by A’s dedication and perseverance.
