It was just a few months before I first met Connor & Veronica for their engagement photography planning & design meeting that they had gotten engaged. They hadn't yet done any wedding planning, but were excited to get their engagement photography session done so they could put up their wedding website. They never take pictures of themselves, they confessed to me, only because they felt they weren't photogenic.

We mulled over a number of different locations for their engagement photography session, finally settling on Connor's parental home in Arlington, Virginia, with it's beautiful, curved wooden staircase, arched entryways, and wraparound porch. Connor & Veronica mentioned that they love black & white, so I made sure to include some black & white engagement portraits for them.
