When I asked Joe on our initial phone call what made him reach out to us, he said:

“Well, to be honest, I have a friend who’s in the media/photo business.  I sent him 5 potential photographers/websites.  He looked at them all and recommended you, saying that your portfolio was the best.  After that, I went to your site and looked through the online dating portraits and liked them.  They looked natural in different settings, and I like that style… I don’t have an eye for art though; I probably won’t like any of the photographs!"

“Haha,” I responded.  “At least half of our clients say that exact same thing on our first phone call, but I’m CERTAIN you’ll like them!"

We brainstormed for half an hour and decided on 3 outfits – one business attire, one casual, and finally an athletic theme, because he enjoys lifting weights and wanted to demonstrate his athleticism.  And so four weeks later, we met up at Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, Northern Virginia.  My favs are the ones with the kettlebell… a little something different!  And many, many thanks to Joe for the awesome 5-star review of our professional photos for online dating!
