When Lindsy & I first spoke, Lindsy had just moved to the Washington DC area, and when I asked her what she had in mind for her “mommy & me” winter family photography session, she told me she was bored with studio portraits and wanted to do something different in an outdoor location. So what better way to welcome this mother-daughter pair to Washington DC than through a photographic stroll through the FDR Memorial, one of the most unique and memorable memorials of our nation’s capital.
