When I first spoke with L. on the phone about a boudoir photography session at our Clarksburg, Maryland photography studio, she said:

“My husband and I have been together for ten years, but I’ve never done any sexy or flirty photos, so I thought boudoir photography would be fun, and I found the overall quality of your boudoir photos to be very striking.”

During our conversation, the subject of comfort in front of the camera came up, and she said:

“That’s EXACTLY what I’m looking for! A boudoir photographer who can make me feel comfortable and relaxed. That’s why I’ve never done boudoir photography before. I don’t know how to do it! …where to put my arms… what angle looks best… what light looks pretty…”

And when we started to talk about creative ideas for her boudoir photography session, she mentioned:

“My husband has specific ideas for this. He wants me to wear a corset. He’ll pick one of the boudoir photos to take to a tattoo artist to tattoo onto him.”

Now that’s devotion for you! Later on after L’s boudoir photography session, I got to meet L’s husband when they came back to our Clarksburg photography studio for their ordering appointment. His tattoos were pretty amazing, including the one of his mom that looked incredibly real. He was also pretty much one of the most polite and respectful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

L’s boudoir photography came out beautifully, and despite her initial worrying about not knowing what to do, it turns out she’s a natural. Enjoy!
