The Fowler family was an absolute blast to photograph! It was the day after Christmas, and the Fowler kids, together with one kid-in-law, were visiting mom & dad in Mt. Airy, Maryland for the holidays. Mom had been asking for family portraits for a while, and the kids had banded together to gift this family portrait photography session to their parents. Matt, the in-law, was the rowdy one, totally hilarious! He definitely kept us on our toes and smiling and laughing throughout. And Mrs. Fowler was secretly hoping for snow, so right on schedule, just as we finished the indoor studio portraits, the temperature dropped, slushy rain turned to perfectly soft snow, and we headed outdoors for just a few outdoor family portraits in the snow blizzard. I think the first photograph below with everyone posing around the picnic table, snow resting in their hair, is my favorite photograph of the day. Enjoy!
