"Your photography is beautiful! I thought how the couples engaged with each other in your portraits was really authentic. I liked how you captured their relationships... I could feel what they feel for each other looking at the photos. We would like pregnancy announcement photos, and I want our photos to capture our love, relationship, and excitement for our 1st child," said Beth on our first phone call.

"We'd like to hang a large wall portrait in our home and use the other pregnancy announcement photos for baby shower announcements and a bound baby book with one year's worth of baby photography," she continued.

Later, I got to meet Beth & Mike in person for their pregnancy announcement photos planning & design meeting. I learned that they had eloped five years earlier in Niagara Falls, and that they are "rustic but posh rednecks." Their ideal pregnancy announcement photos would be either in front of a barn, on a dock, or in a forest. After talking about various potential locations together, Beth & Mike settled on rustic & forested Manassas National Battlefield Park in Northern Virginia.
