F. had been thinking about doing a boudoir photography session for the past 1.5 years, and the time just felt right. She and her boyfriend have been doing the long-distance thing for a few years now. While the boudoir photography session would be more for her than for him, his birthday and graduation were both also coming up, and she would love to surprise him with a gorgeous boudoir photography album.

"Can I bring my best friend to the boudoir photography session?" F. asked.

"Of course!" I said. "It's natural to be a little nervous at the prospect of baring yourself to your boudoir photographer who you've only just recently met, so I welcome any friends who will make you feel more comfortable. Plus, it's double the fun with double the people!"

Her friend would be coming out from out-of-state just for F's classy MD boudoir photography session, so we made sure to schedule for a weekend when everyone was available.

F. brought lingerie that she had to our pre-boudoir session planning & design meeting, and we toured our Maryland photography studio, picked out furniture & settings for her photography session, and matched lingerie to each theme. F's boyfriend owns a motorcycle, so one of her outfits included a motorcycle jacket and boots over lace thigh-highs and lingerie. When she visited her boyfriend before her boudoir session, she insisted on bringing the motorcycle jacket back to Maryland with her, refusing to answer her boyfriend's questions about why she would need it! Well, that was a bit of a giveaway, because a week later on the day of her boudoir photography session, they were on the phone, and she said she was going to an appointment, and he said... "Are you going somewhere for pictures???" She couldn't help but confess right then and there, and said he was oh so excited to see the result!

At her boudoir photography "reveal" a week after her session, F. chose an Artful Album with a 45-image storybook design, art green inside paper, and a black linen cover. Gorgeous!!!!! (Stay tuned, as I'll post images of her finished boudoir photography album soon!)
