“I’ve been looking for a professional photographer on and off for a year now, and no one caught my eye until I found you. Your photography has a quality and character to it that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I showed your photography website to my daughter, and she thought your photos are awesome.”

And so Gene and I began a discussion about three different photography projects – a series of online dating portraits at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg, MD, a business headshot for LinkedIn, and a father-daughter family photography session. This first blog post of the three features Gene’s online dating portraits, which needed to be not just decent, but of “the highest caliber” said Gene. And what better way to portray an outdoor-sy mountain biker than by including his bike and featuring him in biking attire for some of the portraits?
